MEET
PATRICIA MARSHALL HARRIS

Patricia Marshall Harris learned early from her mother, Classie, that food is more than just something to eat; it’s a way to show love and care for others.

As the eighth of ten children, the kitchen was the heart of her home. Standing beside her mother, Classie—the namesake and spirit behind Classie Nutrition—Patricia discovered and learned to cook with fresh ingredients, seasonal produce, and an intuitive understanding of flavor. Meals weren’t rushed. They were thoughtful, nourishing, and rooted in tradition and love.

This strong foundation guided her through a career of  35 years in food service, health, and hospitality. Patricia combined her personal experiences with formal training in holistic and plant-based nutrition, exploring global food traditions and wellness practices that honor both the body and culture. Certified by the American Fitness Professionals & Associates (AFPA) and as an attendee of Spellman, she created a philosophy that sees food as a source of prevention, healing, and connection—never as something to restrict.

Today, through Classie  Nutrition, Patricia brings together ancestral wisdom, nutrition education, and culinary storytelling to help people reclaim their health without sacrificing flavor or cultural identity. Her work centers food sovereignty, health literacy, and access to fresh, nourishing meals—especially within communities of color.

Patricia’s own wellness journey continues to inspire her work. She has been an avid walker over 40 years, reinforcing her belief that lasting health is built through small, intentional choices made every day.

OUR  PHILOSOPHY — Food as a Connector

At Classie Nutrition, we see food as so much more than just what’s on your plate—it’s a way to connect with one another.

It ties us to our culture, our cherished memories, and the love that's been shared through generations. It brings people together, sparks conversations, and nurtures our communities.

We believe that nourishment should celebrate your roots while also supporting your journey ahead. That means using whole, delicious ingredients, plant-based, and embracing time-honored traditions, while making simple, however, thoughtful choices that encourage prevention, healing, and daily well-being.

When food is made with intention, it transforms into a bridge—linking health and heritage, blending science with intuition, and uniting nourishment with joy. That’s the Classie way.
